Yes working on New Year’s can be quite a dampener – but not when it’s at one of your most favorite venues. And Alila Diwa, Goa definitely tops our list. Every section of this venue had to be treated differently keeping the architecture and the cuisine being served for that particular section in mind.

So while the Lebanese section had Moroccan Elements to it, the Central Courtyard was treated more on the lines of an elegant sit – down dinner.  And the entertainment section was treated retro, a la the Great Gatsby style complete with a photo op area having a vintage Yezdi. A larger than life installation of ‘NYE’ set the tone for the evening thus making each space exuberate celebration in different layouts.
